Haole Boys Shave Ice Positions
We have various positions available throughout the year. Most employees start off as a Cashier/Server and move up to Shaver and/or Lead. Special Events Coordinator
All the Lead Qualifications, plus:

Must have Event Coordination and Planning Experience

Ability to schedule and manage staff
-
Multi-task and coordinate restocking of supplies while managing event and service

Ability to adapt and problem solve with limited resources and time.
Desired Skills
-
Must have prior leadership experience as a lead or higher position.
Retail Location, Food Truck or Event Catering Lead
Required Qualifications
-
Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Supervisor/Manager.

Must be familiar with applicable county Health Department regulations.

Must be able to check and manage inventory processes.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Ability to teach servers by coaching, training, and directing them.

Must know how to maintain a sanitary environment.
-
Must have the physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

Must have a flexible schedule.

May be required to drive truck to and from event locations. (Food Truck Lead role only)

Must have valid driver's license with good driving record.
Desired Skills

General banquet preparation experience a plus.

Previous experience in a leadership role.
Artisan / Ice Shaver
Required Qualifications

Must work well in team environment.

Ability to work in fast paced.

Must know how to maintain a sanitary environment.

Must have the physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

Must have a flexible schedule.
Desired Skills

The ability to perform under pressure.

The desire and ability to master the craftsmanship of creating the perfect shave ice.
Catering Server / Cashier
Required Qualifications

Friendly and charismatic personality.

Able to lift moderate amounts of weight.

Able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Must have a flexible schedule.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Must be able to count correct change and use POS system.

Serve Safe/Food Handler Card certified.
Desired Skills
-
At least 2 years of experience as a Cashier.

Banquet/server experience.
-
Knowledge of banquet setup and breakdown.
